I'll dominate 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As both boxers participated in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly happening.
